Mammo Clear

I received results on my left side mammogram and all is well. Whew! A sigh of relief.

I haven't heard from my oncologist on the blood work of May 24th yet, so I presume all is well. Although I think I will call the office tomorrow just to check in. Normally the blood work would have been ordered before an appointment, so we could discuss it together. But because I saw my oncologist in late April due to ongoing pain from the Letrozole, he said he would not need to see me in May as originally planned. Instead, we would do the blood work May and he would call if there were any issues. So I will check back in with him.

I'm still having some pain, I believe from the Exemestane, but time will tell. For now, a 12-hour Aleeve from time to time seems to do the job. Although it does make me worry about the possibility of bone loss.

The thing that is bothering me the most right now is how thin my hair is. I guess I need to be thankful that I even have any hair, and so should just let it go. But a girl really does rely on her hair, and I guess I am grieving the thick hair I had pre-cancer.

But heck, I have hair.  -- AND, I don't have cancer anymore. Gotta be thankful for sure.

And tonight I got to spend time with my 7 month old grandson Gaige. Then tomorrow I spend two days in Davis with my nearly 10 month old grandson Nico. So things are not so bad after all.

Nico enjoying the swing.
Gaige and his Dad, Chris.
